THE NIGHT MISSION PROFILE
THE STEALTH APPROACH: Equipped with filtered spotlights to minimize disturbance, we venture into the bush after dusk. You’ll experience the savanna through your ears first—the chirping of reed frogs, the distant “sawing” of a leopard, and the eerie laugh of a hyena.
THE APEX ENCOUNTERS: This is the prime time for feline activity. Witness lions on the prowl, elusive leopards preparing for a kill, and the rare “secret” animals like the Aardvark, Honey Badger, and Bat-eared Fox.
A CELESTIAL CANOPY: Mid-mission, we cut the engines and the lights. Experience the total, profound silence of the African wild under a billion stars. Our guides provide “Celestial Intel,” pointing out the Southern Cross and ancient constellations used for navigation.

Because Night Game Drives are restricted in many areas to protect wildlife, we conduct our nocturnal missions in specialized zones:
Lake Manyara National Park: Famous for its “Jungle at Night” experience.
Private Conservancies: Areas bordering the Serengeti and Tarangire where the “Sojas” code allows for off-road tracking and night exploration.

Yes. Even in the dry season, the temperature drops significantly. We recommend a “Tactical Jacket” and provide warm blankets in the vehicle.
We use red filters on our spotlights whenever possible. This allows us to observe natural behavior without blinding or stressing the animals, maintaining our commitment to conservation.
Night drives typically last 2 to 3 hours, usually beginning around 19:00 or 20:00 HRS.
