Frequently Asked Questions.

The most dramatic river crossings happen across the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti between August and October. However, the Western Corridor’s Grumeti River crossings in June and July offer an incredible, less-crowded alternative.

Yes. Because luxury camps situated close to the migration routes have limited capacity, we highly recommend booking 6 to 8 months in advance, especially if you plan to travel during the peak months of January-February (Calving) or August-October (River Crossings).

Absolutely. While tracking the millions of wildebeest and zebras, you are highly likely to encounter lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes. Our itineraries also frequently include the Ngorongoro Crater, which is the best place in Tanzania to spot the rare Black Rhino, completing your Big Five checklist.
